JAMMU, June 4: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Trikuta Nagar today launched Swach Bharat Abhiyan mission of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
The event was inaugurated by Kavinder Gupta speaker State Legislative Assembly along with Aseem Gupta State secretary BJP. Both the leaders after inauguration participated in cleaning of roads and drains of locality along with other participants.
Kavinder Gupta while addressing the gathering advised the people to keep their area clean and green so that it will prevent diseases to spread in our surroundings. The Speaker promised to give all possible help so that the area remains healthy. He thanked the gathering for giving inspiration to other members of the society in this cleanliness drive. The event was organized by BB Sawhney State patron BVP and Madhu Gupta President BVP.
Prominent those present included Pt. Ashok Khajuria, Anita Sharma, Arun Sharma, Kuldeep Gupta, Dheeraj Mahajan, Neelam Mengi , Sunita Gupta, Prof P.L.Saraf,R C Khullar , K D Sharma, Virendra Sharma, Sudershan Sawhney, Prof Neelam Hans , Dr Kanta Bhagat, PN Jolly, Er Prashotam Gupta and others.
A sign board carrying the message of Prime Minster was installed in the main market Trikuta Nagar for the awareness of General Public.
