JAMMU, June 4: Some burglars today struck a house and decamped with gold jewellery and cash.
According to a police spokesman, one person namely Balwant Singh son of late Dharam Singh, resident of Gandarwan, tehsil Akhnoor, lodged a written report at police station that some burglars this morning struck their home when they had gone to Military Hospital for some treatment, and decamped with 20 Tola golden jewellery and a cash of Rs 85000.
He said that acting on their complaint, ASI Kuldeep Singh rushed on spot and FSL team also called for lifting up the finger prints and videography.
“One suspect namely Kamal Kumar son of Pritam Lal, resident of Gandarwan, was rounded up by the police for questioning”, he said adding a case FIR No 92/2016 U/S 454/380 RPC stand registered at police station Akhnoor.
