JAMMU, Nov 12: National Conference (NC) candidate from Gandhi Nagar Constituency, Surinder Singh Bunty today said that if given chance he will endeavour to provide a platform to the youth for improving their educational skills besides generating ample employment avenues so that migration of State’s young blood to other parts of the country for want of career avenues to ensure better fortune could be stopped.
He was addressing a youth workers’ meeting at Colonel’s Colony near near Airport.
He said that NC is bound to ensure skill based education, generate suitable job avenues besides all round development of the State.
“Gaining political benefits by dividing people on regional, communal or linguistic lines is not the agenda of NC rather it believes in pursuing to maintain pluralistic ethos of J&K State which has a glorious past of patronizing people belonging to diverse tribes, ethnicities, religions and faiths”, he said, adding that come what may, NC will strive to maintain the slogan of ‘Unity among Diversity’.
Earlier, during door to door campaigning at Sector 2 and 3 of Nanak Nagar and Bandu Rakh localities, Surinder Singh interacted with large number of voters and highlighted the programmes and policies of National Conference.
