SRINAGAR, Oct 11: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Saturday warmly welcomed a group of young new members from Budgam into the party fold.
A prominent political activist, Syed Mubashir from Budgam, joined Apni Party along with dozens of his associates. Party president Altaf Bukhari, along with other senior party leaders, extended a warm welcome to the new entrants into the party. The joining programme was held at the party headquarters Church Lane, Srinagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Bukhari said that he felt immense pleasure in welcoming the young activists into the party. He assured them that the Apni Party would provide them with ample opportunities to serve the people in their respective areas. He expressed hope that the joining of these youngsters would further strengthen the party in the constituency.
The prominent party leaders who were present on this occasion included- Farooq Andrabi, Owais Ashraf Shah, Dr Harbaksh Singh, Dr Bilal Ahmad Mir, Tauseef Bashir, Tehseen Farooq and others.
