BARAMULLA: Minister for Horticulture, Syed Basharat Bukhari, today chaired a meeting to review progress of various ongoing State and centrally sponsored schemes under different sectors in the Sangrama constituency.
Director Horticulture Planning & Marketing, Joint Director Planning, SE PHE, ACD, DPO, Engineers from various Departments, BDOs of Sangrama Constituency and other concerned attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that under MGNREGA various Culverts, Drains, Roads and Mini-stadiums have been constructed in the Constituency during 2016-17.
During the meeting, the Minister reviewed progress made under schemes like NRDWP, MLPAD and directed the officers to pace up works being executed in the constituency.
He directed the executing agencies including R&B, RDD and other concerned to accelerate the pace of work and ensure timely completion of all the development projects, so that their benefits percolate to the grass root level.
The Minister stressed on greater transparency and judicious use of funds in implementation of various works. He called for proper coordination among the concerned Departments for effective and timely completion of developmental projects in the Constituency.
