RAJOURI, Feb 8: A buffalo was charred to death after a cattle-shed caught fire under mysterious circumstances at village Mera near Rajouri last night.
Official sources said that cattle-shed of a labourer – Pankaj Kumar, son of Late Subhash Chander, resident of village Mera under Rajouri police jurisdiction caught fire during last night. The other cattle were however, saved but grains kept in the container at the corner there were also burnt in the incident. The cause of fire was not immediately known. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
