JAMMU, July 6: Senior chairpersons of Baba Budha Amarnath Yatra Trust today held a meeting to review the arrangements of yatra that is going to commence from August 1while people from local Trade Association as well as Muslims of the area took part in this meeting.
It was held under the leadership of Trust Chairman, Mahamandleshwar Swami Shri Vishwatmanand Sarswati Maharaj in which all the arrangements of for the forth coming Baba Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra were discussed.
Local traders appraised the trust chairpersons that every year during yatra days, a major problem of traffic jams is faced in the area which creates a lot of inconvenience for the yatris after which it was decided that the issue of construction of a bye pass road will be taken up with local administration so that problem of traffic congestion are dealt properly.
On the other hand Muslims of the area assured the Trust that like every year, they will welcome the yatris and will help the Trust in making the yatra a big success.
Prominent who were present in the meeting include Sardar Surinder Singh, Shamim Ganai, Shafayat Hussain, Abdul Ahad Butt, Dr. Ghulam Abbas, Mohammad Feroz, Abdul Majid and others.
Meanwhile addressing in the meeting Chairman of the Trust, Swami Vishwatmanand Sarswati Ji Maharaj appreciated the support by the Muslims of the area and also asked the locals to live in communal harmony and brotherhood.
