JAMMU, May 5: BSP’s Central Coordinator and Incharge JKUT, Randhir Singh Beniwal today said that party will participate in the upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) and Panchayat elections in J&K.
Addressing a meeting of the party functionaries at party office in Satwari today, Beniwal said that
Bahujan Samaj Party is advancing in Jammu & Kashmir with a specific goal in mind-a goal that will only be realized when the BSP forms a government in the region on its own during the Assembly elections scheduled for 2029.
He emphasized that, prior to achieving this, party workers and leaders must engage in rigorous hard work. He further remarked that, throughout the history of Jammu & Kashmir, every government that has held power so far, has worked to divide the people along religious and regional lines, while failing to even initiate a dialogue regarding issues directly affecting the populace.
Beniwal asserted that the people of Jammu & Kashmir now view the BSP as a viable alternative, and expressed confidence that the Bahujan Samaj Party would secure significant victories in the upcoming Panchayat and Local Bodies elections, as well as in the Assembly elections.
Coordinators- Daya Chand and Pratap Singh shared their views, emphasizing that the role of a party worker is pivotal to any organization, as it is through their efforts that a party can effectively disseminate its policies to the common people. They urged the party workers to move forward with renewed vigor and to take the party’s policies to every section of the masses.
JKUT president of BSP, Darshan Rana also spoke on the occasion.
Senior members- Charanjit Chargotra, Sunil Majotra, Raja Singh, Shak Mohd, Tilak Raj Bhagat, Bishan Das Bhagat, Raman Kumar, Tarsem Lal and Devender Kumar were also present.
