JAMMU, Oct 9: On the eve of the death anniversary of Master Kanshi Ram, Bahujan Samaj Party took out motorcycle/scooter/car rally, here today.
The rally was flagged off by BSP State coordinator M L Tomar (EX MLC) and Tarsem Lal Khullar, State president BSP. It took off from Kunjwani Chowk in out skirts of Jammu city and a large number of youth as well as BSP activists took part.
Carrying BSP flags and chanting slogans in praise of Master Kanshi Ram, the rally passed through Gangyal, Satwari, Bikram Chowk, Dogra Chowk, BC Road, Ambhalla, Kachi Chowni, Prade, Shalamar, Indra Chowk, Prem Nagar, Gujjar Nagar, Bahu Fort and culminated at Ambedkar Chowk near Railwày Station Jammu.
On culmination of the rally, the gathering was addressed by leaders of Bahujan Samaj Party, who termed Kanshi Ram as Masiha of down trodden masses of India. “After the death of the great leader Dr B R Ambedkar who fought tooth and nail through out his life for guarding the rights of Indian masses, Kanshi Ram forwarded the mission of Dr Ambedkar to its logical end,” they stressed.
The BSP leaders threw light on life and struggle of Master Kanshi Ram for the downtrodden and Dalit.
