Jammu, July 19: State president Bahujan Samaj Party Tulsi Dass Langeh accompanied by Mohinder Kashyap candidate of Jammu- West Assembly constituency visited the Janipur Housing Colony and addressed various corner meetings besides having interaction with the prominent persons of cross sections of the society.
BSP leader in his address explained in detail the policy, programme of Bahujan Samaj Party. The participants who attended the meetings were convinced with the ideology and programmes of the party and assure support in the forthcoming Assembly election.
During the discussion besides erratic electric supply and drinking water, a serious issue came into light. There was major complaint from the inhabitant of Housing Colony, Janipur, Jammu, that plots measuring 25′ x 50′ were allotted by the JDA Jammu in 1972, 42 years back to the persons falling under the Lower Income Group (LIG.) providing Rs 5000 loan for construction of their houses. Though later on the loan was waived off during the regime of the then Prime Minister Devegowda, but ownership proprietary rights of the plots have not been given so far.
