BSP holds monthly meeting, discusses organizational issues

JAMMU, Sept 8: Bahujan Samaj Party Jammu and Kashmir held its monthly meeting under the chairmanship of S R Majotra, State President BSP J&K, and discussed a number of organizational issues.
In the meeting, which was attended by all the office bearers, vice presidents, general secretaries, Zone Coordinators, District Presidents and Constituency Presidents, progress of the each constituency was reviewed. Work of some of the workers/ office bearers was appreciated and a few others were warned who have not worked satisfactorily in their fields allotted to them.
While addressing the workers, Mr Majotra stressed on the need to visit door to door to aware the poor masses for informing about the support extended by the BSP national president Mayawati in favour of the J&K Reorganisation Bill and abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India so that the interest of the weaker sections of the society may be protected. He also requested the worker to work with dedication for the welfare of the poor masses.
The Memorandum submitted by All India Backward Classes Union was discussed and OBC communities were assured that this Memorandum shall be sent to Mayawati for projecting the demands.
Other participants who spoke on the occasion, included Charanjit Chargotra, Pritam Chand, R K Thappa, Badrinath, Pawan Kundal, Hari Chand Thappa, Yashpal Bhagat, Shashi Thappa, Rajni Bhagat, Gourav, Raman Kumar, Mangu Ram, Bharat Bhushan Kundal, Tilak Raj Bhagat, Parkesh Kataria, Varinder Bhagat, Manoj Kumar and Sardar Raja Singh.
