BSP announces Ashok Bhagat as party candidate from Marh constituency

JAMMU, Feb 23: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) announced Ashok Bhagat as party candidate from Marh constituency. The announcement was made by Narinder Kashyap, Member Parliament (MP), Rajya Sabha and National General Secretary, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) while addressing public gathering at Marh constituency today. He said that prices of the essential commodities are touching the sky, unemployment amongst educated youth is alarming and corruption is at rampant. He held NC-Congress coalition Government in J&K and UPA Government led by Congress at Centre responsible for the hardships being faced by the common masses. BJP has no agenda for common man, Kashyap alleged. He further stated that the candidates for the rest of the Lok Sabha constituencies will be declared shortly. Tulsi Dass Langeh, State president, BSP condemned the NC-Congress coalition Government for ineffective governance, because the order relating to SC, ST and OBC categories was issued at bureaucracy level without consent of the Chief Minister, which is a serious lapse on the part of bureaucracy. He demanded stern action and revocation of anti SC, ST and OBC orders. Earlier, Ashok Bhagat, presented the welcome address and also gave vote of thanks in the end. Among others present were Gurnam Singh, coordinator, RL Chargotra, Rattan Kumar Bhagat, BD Thappa, Ajaib Singh Mottam, Ex-MLA Som Nath, Rakesh Wazir, Dalbir Singh Bhagat, Raja Singh, Dr Jarjit Kumar, Ravinder Singh, etc.
