JAMMU, Aug 30: BSNL has launched international “Wi-Fi” roaming services to enable its subscribers to access Wi-Fi for unlimited usage for the period of selected pack anywhere in the world without worrying about the bill shock.
This is industry first initiative of BSNL in partnership with M/s TCL of using its Wi-Fi cloud communication solutions to allow the customers a seamless access to 44 million Wi-Fi hot spots in more than 100 countries which include all important tourist as well as business places outside India, airports, hotels, convention centers, malls and even airplanes and rails.
A new customer friendly version of My BSNL App for international Wi-Fi has also been released. This international Wi-Fi roaming service is available to both prepaid and postpaid customers of BSNL and would be available to them even if the customer has not subscribed to international roaming services.
For facilitating the customers to overcome difficulties, if any, single Nodal Web Self Customer Care (WSCC) has also been established to handle all complaints on 10 digit number +91-9409401234 and e-mail ID wifiroaming@bsnl.co.in .
The service can be available by using any of the 3 packs available at INR 999, INR 1599 and INR 1999 with validity of 7, 15 and 30 days respectively.
