SRINAGAR, May 30: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will be holding its 32nd Telephone Adalat on June 03 to reply subscribers’ complaints regarding alleged excess billing on telephone services.
According to Public Relations Officer BSNL, Maqsood Bala, the subscribers have been complaining about excess billing in landline, broadband and postpaid mobile, delay in provisioning of new telephone connection and other services.
He said the adalat would be conducted under the chairmanship of BSNL General Manager Telecom at Conference Hall of GMT BSNL Kashmir, Exchange Road, Srinagar.
The subscribers can send their grievances in writing to Assistant General Manager (PR), O/o GMT, BSNL, Srinagar on or before June 1 or mail on masoodbala@gmail.com, he said
Bala said during the last fiscal, 185 cases were registered in 6 Telephone Adalats held during the year 2013-14 and an amount of Rs. 163181 was waived off in favour of the subscribers.
