JAMMU, Jan 31: A Civic Action Programme was organized by BSF at Government Middle School Balwal Bharat, BSF BOP Matkula, 152 Battalion BSF Jammu, in the series of efforts made by BSF to assist and foster a close bond with the border population.
The programme was inaugurated by Poli Devi, Sarpanch in presence of Dr Shiv Kumar SMO BSF, Dr Jaskiran Preet Kaur, MO BSF, Sukhdev Singh, Assistant Commandant BSF and Dr Natasha of PHC Matkula.
During the programme, 325 civilians from border villages were consulted by the team of Doctors. Free medicines were also distributed among them.
On this occasion, Poli Devi, Sarpanch said that BSF is not only doing its duty on International Border but also conducting such type health camp regularly for border population which created awareness for health among the border population.
In the end, she thanked the whole team of doctors and BSF authorities.
