AKHNOOR, Dec 22: A blood donation camp was organised by BSF at 89 Battalion location here today.
The camp was jointly inaugurated by MLA Akhnoor from BJP, Rajeev Sharma and Commandant 89 Battalion Border Security Force (BSF), Sanjay Kumar. About fifty (50) youth of the area besides some jawans donated the blood.
The medical staff from the local hospital rendered their free services for this noble cause. The MLA lauded the efforts of the BSF and appealed the local youth to donate blood to save the humanity and serve the needy patients.
The prominent locals, Subhash Chander, Ashok Kumar, Jatin Singh, Rakesh Kumar and Pritpal were also present on the occasion.
