JAMMU, Nov 21: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was injured in ceasefire violations by Pakistan army in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district last night.
Injured has been identified as Ajay Kumar.
Sources said the injured jawan was evacuated from the site of shelling and firing in a forward location of Krishna Ghati sector and admitted in the hospital where he was responding to treatment.
Shelling and firing from the Pakistan side stopped at midnight last night following effective retaliation by the Indian Army in which Pakistani troops were reported to have suffered heavy losses.
