JAMMU, June 17: A BSF jawan was injured as Pakistan violated ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district, taking total number of injuries during last two days to four.
Three civilians were injured in Pakistan shelling in Shahpur sector of Poonch district yesterday.
Reports said Pakistan army opened firing in Krishna Ghati sector this morning in which the BSF jawan identified as Sandeep Ghasati was injured. He was evacuated from the site of firing and admitted to the Army Hospital Rajouri.
The Indian side retaliated Pakistan firing effectively, leading to exchanges, which lasted about half an hour.
