JAMMU, Dec 6 : A Jawan of Border Security Force (BSF) was today found hanging in Force’s Frontier Headquarters at Paloura, Jammu.
According to a police spokesman, Head Constable Badri Prasad (47) son of Doman Prasad, a resident of village Ailahi, district Chanduali, Uttar Pradesh, was found hanging by his colleagues in a washroom at BSF Headquarters, Paloura, early this morning.
“The deceased having Force No 890050774 was posted at 50 Battalion BSF, Paloura. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the Jawan was handed over to BSF authorities”, he said, adding, no suicide note or any other document was recovered from the deceased.
In this connection, Domana police has registered a case under 174 CrPC and initiated inquest proceedings.
