SAMBA, June 16: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan posted at Wagah Border was crushed by Jhelum Express near Devika Bridge here.
As per police sources, BSF personnel posted at Wagah Border namely 35-year-old Mast Ram, son of Jalla Ram of district Samba, was crushed by Jhelum Express near Devika Bridge here.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to District Hospital Samba, where after conducting postmortem, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
Police has started inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC in this regard.
