JAMMU, Nov 20: A day after security forces successfully foiled the nefarious design of Pakistan by neutralising four terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Nagrota, alert BSF troops today evening fired few rounds at a drone, which was seen flying inside the Indian Territory in Samba district.
Official sources said here that a drone was seen flying into the Indian Territory near forward post in Samba Sector, adding, “The drone had entered around 500 meters inside our territory”.
”Own troops fired 12 to 15 rounds at the flying machine, following which it returned but reportedly it was shot down when it crossed the boundary,” they added.
Previously also, many such incidents were reported close to the International Border.
Many drones smuggling weapons have been shot down by the BSF troops in Hiranagar and Arnia Sectors.
”Though BSF troops have successfully shot down the arms laden drone on June 20 in Hiranagar sector, but before that and after this incident as well, Pakistani drones were seen flying close to the Indian Territory and probably, they are spying on our activities,” official sources said.
