JAMMU, Dec 13: A BSF constable was found dead this morning in front of Tourist Reception Centre at Railway Station here.
According to a police spokesperson, the deceased BSF Constable (Cook) identified as Ganesh Ram (57), son of Kami Ram, a resident of district Almora in Uttarakhand, was found lying unconscious near Tourist Reception Centre of Railway Station, Jammu.
He was immediately shifted by police to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem.
According to police, the deceased BSF Constable having Belt No 76588004 was posted at FTR Headquarter, Jammu.
