KATHUA, Oct 21: A brother who had already murdered his one sister two years back and was evading arrest turned out to be the murderer of his another sister some days back.
Talvir Ahmed S/o Munir Choudhary of Jamola Rajouri who had killed his sister, Kali two years back suspecting her to be of bad character some days back killed the another sister, Raseela Bibi, 22 who was a divorce on the same charges in forest area of village Mangloor in Kathua district.
According to SDPO Hiranagar, Diwakar Singh, Raseela Bibi had come to the residence of her sister Reshma in village Mangloor in Hiranagar tehsil of Kathua district from Rajouri some days back.
Her brother Talvir who was absconding for last two years after murdering the one sister when came to know that his another sister whom he too suspected to be of bad character had visited the residence of Reshma followed her to village Mangloor. When Raseela saw Talvir she fled from her sister’s house to save herself. But he chased her to jungle and strangulated her there throwing body in the jungle.
The SDPO said police party led by SHO Hirangar, Annorup Sharma later arrested Talvir who admitted that he killed both the sisters to save his honour as both of them were of bad character.
Hiranagar Police with his arrest has solved a double murder case and has registered a case under Section 302 against him.
