Srinagar, Aug 5: Brother of Hizbul Mujahideen commander, Waseem Malla, was booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) and has been shifted to Central Jail Srinagar today.
Police said Saboor Ahmad Malla son of Mohd Iqbal Malla of Pahlipora Shopian was arrested by police on July 26 last month for militancy links. After remaining in police custody for 11 days, the youth was booked under PSA (DMS 10/DMS/PSA/2015) for his alleged role in pelting stones on the forces and militancy related incidents. He was shifted to Central Jail Srinagar.
However, the family refuted the police claims that the youth was involved in stone pelting.
