BPCL conducts awareness program on Quality & Quantity

JAMMU, Dec 7: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) today conducted a mass awareness programme on Quality and Quantity (Q&Q) at its newly opened petrol pump with JKSRTC at Transport Nagar.
Over 100 participants from the Transport Sector which included Transporters, Drivers, Cleaners and other prominent businessmen operating in Transport Nagar participated in the event.
A health camp by the Mobile Medical Van of BPCL was also conducted during the day and over 100 persons were checked by the team of doctors and paramedical staff. Apart from distributing basic medicines, a mass medical awareness was also imparted to the community engaged with Transport sector.
On the occasion, the Company also launched an exclusive free Blanket scheme at the Petrol Pump by the slogan “Diesel Bharao, Kambal Le Jao”. In this scheme, the trucks can get a free quality blanket on filling 2000 litres of Diesel and small commercial vehicles can get the same on filling 1000 litre Diesel. This scheme shall remain valid till January 31, 2019 at this petrol pump of JKSRTC only.
Dushyant Sharma and Mayur Mehta, Company’s sales officers, while demonstrating the process of customers’ rights on checking Quality and Quantity, gave hand’s on training to drivers as to how can they check the Q&Q at petrol pumps themselves.
Rajesh Sharma, BPCL’s Territory Manager for J&K and JKSRTC’s Manager, Tajinder Singh, expressed their hope that the petrol pump will become faith of customers in the days to come. They also informed that this joint venture between Bharat Petroleum and JKSRTC is an initiative taken on the lines of BPCL’s Police Pariwar Petrol Pumps in Jammu province.
Amar Singh, Joint Controller and Manoj Prabhakar, Deputy Controller of Legal Metrology Department were also present on the occasion.
