SRINAGAR, Mar 5: A youth along with a girl today jumped into river Jhelum in Uri Baramulla area following which a massive search operation was launched by a team of SDRF.
The duo, one from Dhani Busgran and a girl, resident of Kundi Barjala jumped this afternoon, following which a massive search was launched.
Teams composed of SDRF, Police and locals were part of the operation. The bodies were yet to be retrieved.
An official said that the search operation has been halted due to the darkness and will be resumed after daylight.
