UDHAMPUR, Aug 16: In a tragic incident, a 13-year old boy drowned while taking bath in Tawi River at Chenani.
Identity of the deceased was established as Akshay Kumar (13), son of Kikar Kumar, resident Nagulta, Tehsil Chenani. While taking bath in the river along with a friend, he slipped into deep water and drowned.
On receiving information about the drowning, locals and Police launched a search operation and fished out the body after hectic efforts.
