POONCH, June 11: A teenager boy was died after he drowned in a river, in Jhullas area of Poonch district today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when Dhruv Sharma, son of Balram Sharma, resident of Jhullas had gone to nearby Poonch river for bathing along with a few other boys. He was drown in the river while bathing.
The other boys could not save him. Later, his body was fished out with the help of locals. The police party also arrived there. After postmortem, the body of the boy was handed over to the family for last rites by police. A case was registered in this connection.
