UDHAMPUR, Aug 30: In a tragic incident, a teenaged boy drowned while taking bath in Toldi Nullah near National Highway, here today.
Identity of the deceased was established as Abhishek, 19 year old, son of Ashok Kumar of Samroli in Udhampur District.
He along with his friend was taking bath in the Nullah when the incident took place, this morning around 11.45 am. On raising of alarm by the other friend, locals rushed to the spot and launched an operation with the help of Police to search the body, which was later fished out from a distance.
