JAMMU, Jan 15: Bagh-e-Bahu police under ‘Operation Kamdheenu’ foiled two bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 12 cattle.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, teams from Bagh-e-Bahu police station laid nakas at different locations and intercepted three vehicles.
During checking, police rescued 12 bovine animals from the vehicles, while the bovine smugglers managed to escape from the spot.
Cases under FIR Number 4/17 and 5/17 have been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the bovine smugglers.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu police station Inspector Vijay Choudhary foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
