Bovines smuggling bids foiled

JAMMU, Jan 11: Khour and Channi Himmat Police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Khour laid a naka at Naryana and intercepted a Mahindra load carrier bearing registration number JK20A-1006.
During checking, police team rescued 2 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who were identified as Hamid Mohammad, son of Hussain Mohammad, a resident of Sungal and Mohammad Mushtaq, son of Mohammad Nazir, a resident of Gandharwan.
A case under FIR Number 2/2021 under Section 188 IPC has been registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Station Channi Himmat laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile.
During checking, police team rescued 4 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested three persons, who were identified as Barkat Ali, Mohammad Qasim and Mushtaq Ali.
A case under FIR Number 7/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation initiated.
