JAMMU, June 19: Nagrota police foiled bovine smuggling bid by rescuing 27 cattle.
As per police sources, a team from Nagrota police station laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02BL-9279.
During checking, police rescued 27 bovine animals from the truck, while the cattle smugglers managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 139/17 under Section 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act has been registered at police station Nagrota and investigation started.
