Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Oct 24: Nagrota police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Nagrota Police Station laid a naka near Ban Toll Plaza and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK03B-9315.
During checking, police team rescued 14 bovine animals from the truck and arrested three persons, who were identified as Shoket Ali, son of Mohammad Hanif of District Anantnag, Mohammad Hussain, son of Ibrahim of District Ramban and Yassar Ahmed, son of Mohammad Iqbal of District Anantnag.
A case under FIR Number 391/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Mohammad Shoket made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh.
