Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Aug 23: Jhajjar Kotli Police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 6 cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station laid a naka and intercepted 3 vehicle bearing registration number JK20A-3489, JK02CA-4239 and JK02BK-6110.
During search, police rescued bovine animals from the vehicles and seized them.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Rajesh Khajuria foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma and SP Rural Suram Singh.
