Bovines smuggling bid foiled, 31 cattle rescued

DODA, Aug 4: Police team foiled bovines smuggling bid and rescued 31 cattle.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Doda police station laid a naka at Nagni Top Bharat and intercepted a person carrying flock of bovine animals.
On seeing police cops, the person escaped from the spot, while police rescued 31 bovine animals, which the accused person identified as Mohammad Salim alias Gulshan, son of Ghulam Haider of Bharat, at present Nalwa Ghat, District Doda was smuggling to Kashmir.
A case under FIR Number 166/17 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Doda police station and hunt has been launched to arrest the cattle smuggler.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Bishnesh Kumar foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
