SAMBA, Oct 6: Police foiled a bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Samba during checking at Nud intercepted a truck bearing Registration Number JK02CJ-7765 for checking.
During checking, police team rescued 13 bovines from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was identified as Altaf, son of Hanief of Gangoh Road, Gujran, Tehsil Nukiad, Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh.
A case FIR Number 245/2022 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
