RAMBAN, Oct 3: Batote, Chanderkote, Ramban and Banihal Police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, on specific information teams from Police Station Batote, Chanderkote, Ramban and Banihal intercepted seven vehicles bearing Registration Numbers JK08L-7705, JK13F-9965, JK14H-5197, JK19-8962, JK02CF-9846, JK03A-8661 and JK02AK-2243.
During search, police team rescued 68 bovine animals and seized all the vehicles.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered at Police Stations Batote, Chanderkote, Ramban and Banihal and investigation started.
