RAMBAN, Feb 4: Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Ramban laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound Bolero-Pickup bearing registration number JK19-7006 being driven by Parvaiz Ahmad, son of Mohammad Israel of Chanderkote.
During checking, police team rescued 11 bovine animals and seized the vehicle.
A case under FIR Number 31/2022 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation set into motion.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Sandeep Charak foiled the bid under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
