Bovine smugglers flee after breaking naka

KATHUA, June 11: The bovine smugglers once again broke the police Naka and managed to flee with animals from Rajbagh area in Kathua district today.
According to reports the bovine smugglers who were on their way to Kashmir from Punjab broke the police barrier at Banyari Police Post under the jurisdiction of Raj Bagh Police Station and escaped police arrest despite the two rounds were fired by men in khaki in the air as warning shots.
According to sources this has been a routine affair for the bovine smugglers who have a good networking with other smugglers enroute and they often succeed in breaking the police naka or giving it a slip to reach Kashmir Valley with animals for slaughter.
The police has registered a case under section 188 RPC against the Roshan Din gang whose men it suspected were involved in today smuggling incident of bovine animals and breaking of the naka. However no arrest was made so far.
