UDHAMPUR, May 13: One more habitual bovine smuggler has been detained under Public Safety Act (PSA) by Udhampur Police.
The accused, namely Rashid, son of Ibrahim of Bupp, Sarar, Chenani, was already booked in a number of bovine smuggling cases registered in the District.
According to Police, had had become a threat to the peaceful atmosphere in the district, thus warranting authorities to detain him under Public Safety Act.
Detention order under PSA was issued by the District Magistrate Udhampur following which Police arrested the accused.
