Sir,
Now it has become a constant phenomenan with our neighbour to go for attacks on our borders least considering of its repercussions. Lastly meeting of the two PMs at New York with regard to settlement of disputes between the two countries have not resulted in any significant change in the prevailing situation on borders.
It is a sad State of affairs that we are losing precious lives day in and day out. Our people living on borders are suffering heavily physically and economically. They have lost cattle wealth and residential houses have been damaged. So many of their dear ones have lost their life. Majority of them have left their villages deserted leaving everything behind in order to save their life from the cross border shelling.
Who will dare to return for harvesting that has gone ripe since in the fields on close to borders. They are innocent but now dejected facing the onerous situation. The situation is so bad that school going children have to break schooling because of the adverse condition near borders.
The schools close to borders stand closed as the on going panic on borders demanded continueous violations on borders is a grave problem which needs our attention. We witness ceasefire violations since long. The need of the hour is to ease the difficulties of the people who have abondoned their places of residence and should try every effort to build their confidence and trust. Our Govt needs to assess the losses of these people and should compensate them so as to make their day to day life easier.
Yours etc…..
