BOPEE conducts CET-2015

JAMMU, May 31: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE), has successfully conducted Common Entrance Test (CET)-2015 for professional Medical and Engineering courses .
On the second and last day of CET, more than 19000 candidates appeared in Biology paper while around 14000 aspirants of Engineering courses appeared in Mathematics paper at 47 centers across the State, 20 in Jammu and 27 in Kashmir.
Elaborate arrangements were made to ensure smooth conduct of the test in these centers. Each center was equipped with independent observers, appointed by the Government and the board.
In Biology paper, a total of 12,781 candidates had applied in Kashmir, of them 12015 appeared in the examination. In Jammu, 7,007 candidates out of the total 7536 appeared in the paper.
As many as 7580 aspirants out of the total 8601 appeared in Mathematics paper in Kashmir, while 6179 out of the total 7181 candidates appeared in this paper in Jammu region.
