JAMMU, Jan 1: Police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered a large quantity of illicit liquor from his possession at Kanachak.
Police identified the accused as Hari Sahu son of Jagan Lal R/o Chattisgarh, presently putting up at Baba Talab, Kanachak.
He was smuggling liquor to Kanachak and supplying it to the people illegally.
SDPO Domana Sandeep Mehta said the accused was arrested along with the consignment of liquor. A case has been registered against him at Kanachak police station.
