JAMMU, Feb 28: Kanachack police today arrested a bootlegger along with 37 pouches of illicit liquor.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Kanachack police station intercepted a pedestrian namely Krishan Chand, son of Sant Ram, a resident of Harsa Tokrian.
During frisking, 37 pouches of illicit liquor were recovered and the bootlegger was arrested.
A case under FIR Number 23/14 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Kanachack and investigation started.
