Bootlegger held with country made liquor

JAMMU, Mar 28: Keeping a tight vigil over sale of illicit liquor in holy town Katra, police arrested a bootlegger and recovered 25 pouches of country made liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Katra police station led by SP Katra Kulbir Singh intercepted a pedestrian near Katra bus stand.
During checking, police recovered 25 illicit liquor pouches and arrested the bootlegger, who has been identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Dharam Chand of Jib, District Udhampur.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Katra police station and investigation started.
