MENDHAR, Mar 28: Sub Division Police Officer Mendhar, Surinder Choudhary today declared open the volleyball tournament at Boys Higher Secondary School, here today.
The tournament, in which 6 teams from Mendhar and adjoining areas are participating is being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Police under Civic Action Programme (CAP).
Inaugural match was played today between the teams of Pappu Volleyball Club and Shaheed Liyaqat Ali Club, wherein former registered an easy win.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Retd SP, Abdual Razaq Khan and SHO Mendhar Inspector Binesh Kumar.
