UDHAMPUR, Dec 16: Udhampur police today arrested a bootlegger from Mini Bus Stand area and seized 40 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
The accused, identified as Munshi Ram of village Malli in Udhampur was intercepted by a Police party from Udhampur Police Station when he was travelling on foot near Mini Bus Stand. During his thorough search, Police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor. Police arrested the accused and seized the recovered liquor.
A case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
