Bootlegger held

JAMMU, Mar 5: Police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 95 pints of liquor from his possession.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Kanachak police station laid a naka at Mishriwala and intercepted a person identified as Sarjan Sandey, son of Padam Kumar Sandey of Chhattishgarh, at present Mishriwala.
During frisking, police recovered 95 pints of liquor from his possession and he was arrested on the spot, spokesman added.
A case under Excise Act has been registered at Kanachak police station and investigation started.
Police party led by SHO BD Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sandeep Mehta.
