JAMMU, Nov 6: Police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 22 pouches of J&K Excise liquor from his possession.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Miran Sahib Police Station led by SHO Ravi Parihar laid a naka and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 22 pouches of J&K Excise Liquor and arrested the person identified as Gurbachan Singh, son of Prabhu Dayal of Ward No. 1, Simbal Camp.
A case under FIR Number 130/12 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and investigation started.
