SRINAGAR, Feb 2: As a part of special drive against social crimes, Police arrested a person with 43 bottles of illicit liquor in Srinagar today.
A Police spokesman said a police party of police station Shaheed Gunj under the supervision of SDPO Shaheed Gunj laid a naka and apprehended one Mohammad Anees sheikh, a resident of Hari Singh High Street and recovered 43 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
A case with FIR no 14/2018 under section 48 Excise Act was registered in this connection and further investigation was taken up.
